As a therapist, I approach you with empathy and compassion, offering a safe and confidential space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. Our goal is to enhance your self-understanding and functioning, making your daily life lighter and more balanced. Over time, distressing thoughts will no longer dominate your life as they once did. Together, we will find ways to help you navigate life’s challenges and support your personal growth. I see every client as a unique individual and tailor therapy to meet your specific needs. My experience with people in various life situations enables me to create an open and trusting connection where you can express yourself freely. During our initial session, we will assess whether I am the right person to support you. After that, we can begin a therapeutic process, whether short or long-term, depending on your needs. Trust and a safe atmosphere are the foundation of my therapeutic work. Through thoughtful questions, I aim to help you discover paths to dismantle harmful behavioral patterns. Our work is grounded in openness and compassion, allowing us to gradually lower defenses and find new ways to face life’s challenges. If you wish, we can incorporate body-centered or art-based exercises, as well as homework assignments to support your progress. At the center of everything is you – a unique and valuable individual whose needs and goals guide the therapeutic process. The therapy will be carefully tailored to your life situation and personal preferences. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Sciences, am a licensed social worker, and have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. I am currently studying to become an integrative psychotherapist at the University of Eastern Finland.
