The knowledge area of a physiotherapist includes matters related to health, movement, mobility, and functional capacity. Key physiotherapy methods include health and functional capacity-promoting guidance and counseling, therapeutic exercise, manual as well as physical therapy. Physiotherapy offers services to individuals who have difficulties with mobility and functional capacity due to aging, injury, pain, illness, dysfunction, or environmental factors. The objective of physiotherapy is to promote the client’s own activity and motivation for developing and maintaining functional capacity. Fysio Aurea provides individual therapies as a service provider for KELA’s demanding rehabilitation and the Wellbeing Services County of Pohde in Pudasjärvi. Individual physiotherapy can be accessed at the facilities of Pudasjärvi's Hyvän Olon Keskus Pirtti with a payment commitment from an insurance company or as a self-paying client. A doctor's referral is recommended but not mandatory. Kela's direct reimbursement ended at the beginning of 2023.
