I believe that self-compassion is at the center of wellbeing. Increasing self-awareness and the acceptance of past experiences, along with all accompanying emotions, is a step toward a more compassionate self-understanding. I am here to help you recognise existing strengths and resources within yourself, to set healthy boundaries. I am here to support you in discovering new perspectives and ways of moving towards the life that you wish to lead. As a therapist I am proactive and solution-focused. I combine the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), in consideration with the clients individual needs in mind. Whether working with individual clients or couples, I focus on strengthening emotion regulation skills and identifying underlying fundamental needs. I keep clients engaged with process-specific homework. As a psychologist I have worked with families, children, teenagers and adults. I have experience in divorce situations, parenting issues and relationship problems. I aim to provide you with a safe and accepting space, in which you feel comfortable sharing your experiences in confidence. As a therapist I have been described as warm and empathetic and that I don't shy away from difficult topics. I am respectfully direct when need be. Welcome!
