I offer psychological conversation support for individuals and couples. I believe that psychological change becomes possible in an accepting and safe relationship with the client. For me that means respect, presence and the experience of being heard. As a psychologist my working method is active and client-oriented. The goals are discussed together, and the purpose is to focus on the themes that are important to you. In addition to discussion, various experiential exercises, such as self-compassion and mindfulness -based methods can be used as well. The focus of the process can be, for example, increasing self-awareness, finding ways to process challenging experiences or changing harmful behavioral patterns. I want to support the client in finding acceptance towards one's own needs, feelings and thoughts. In my way of working I use a lot of Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) methods. When working with couples, emotion focused practices are emphasized.
