Eveliina Pohja

I am Eveliina, an osteopath, and I graduated from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in 2020. I also have sports masseuse and personal trainer qualifications. My path to the industry started at the age of three, after my older sister dragged me to the ski slope with her. As a young athlete, I had to pause at the anatomy and physiology of the human body as the result of the overload conditions that interfered with my endurance sports and later my gym training. Right after graduating as a massage therapist, I knew I needed to study human anatomy more, because massage didn't seem to be enough help for my clients. As an osteopath, I am especially motivated to help you to be able to do things that are important to you as long as possible and live a life that looks like yours. In my work, I consider it important that my clients learn to understand their body's messages and thus also independently intervene in alarming signs related to the body's ability to recover, before things get to the point where it impairs the quality of life. I am especially interested in recovery from infections, as well as the functioning of the body's respiratory and fluid circulation systems. I am also currently studying osteopathic treatment for dogs. People of all ages and fitness levels are welcome at my reception. Everything starts with me familiarizing myself with your individual situation, based on which we think together about the osteopathic approach that suits you and the needs for further treatment.
