Background and Experience I am a psychologist (M.Sc. Psychology), cognitive behavioral therapist, and psychotherapist trainer. I have been working as a psychotherapist since 2015, primarily with young people and working-age adults. Working Methods In therapy sessions, we work together to understand the situation and the problems that impair quality of life using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) methods. Writing and hypnosis can also be utilized when needed. The aim of rehabilitation is to influence circumstances, coping mechanisms, skills, and symptom management. Therapy goals are defined together, and progress towards these goals is monitored regularly. Areas of Interest I am particularly interested in evidence-based psychotherapy treatments and the development of psychological flexibility processes, such as strengthening mindfulness skills, acceptance, and value-based actions. Services I offer psychology and psychotherapy sessions in-person and via video. Service languages are Finnish and English. I am registered as a provider of rehabilitation psychotherapy by Kela, and I also provide services for the City of Helsinki’s social and health department, HUS (PalSe), and insurance companies.
